Great game!! I wish you could leave a game if other person does not move for longer then 2+ hours

and a cluttered interface

Chess is fun. This app is so close to being good, it fails on the following- The constant "remove from list" pop up inquiring about writing a review (see app, Im finally doing it) The inability to refresh while the app is open. I often find I have a notification for a move that doesnt exist. The user interface hasnt been upgraded since iPhone 4. There are ads even though I paid for the version that is supposed to be without them. But its unfortunately probably the better of chess apps to play amongst friends out there. Theres no timing limits though so your opponent can take a week if theyd like for a move.

I absolutely love to play chess with this app. You can play anyone from friends to total strangers. However, I give it a three star rating because it gives you limited response time before it forces you to resign. They also adjust this setting ever so often, so you really never know just how much time you have. Its hard when youre playing 40 people at once (the maximum limit) and you automatically are forced to lose games. This is especially difficult in complicated theoretical positions...-needs to be adjusted-

Pretty good but slow. Also there is not feature to email the game to yourself for review. Its kind of unstable too. Freezes up a lot. Come on. I paid for this. Pleas fix it.

The app is great! I play everyday. There should be a way for us to track our records with individual players. The app kind of looks old school. There are some glitches that could be fixed. Many have been fixed since I first started playing about 5 months ago. If we could track the win/loss between individual players....this would be the greatest app ever!!!

Even the *PAID* version still has adds for FarmVille2... What a bunch of garbage. Greedy devs.

Need to be able to choose black or white. Timed Games. And ratings would be nice. Other than these items ...pretty decent.

The interface and simplicity of the game is awesome. I think there should be a record of stats for people youve played against, and a rating for all the users.

I enjoy this app a lot and find that it works well for me. There are still some bugs, but the overall app experience is excellent. I had a problem where the app was unable to connect to Facebook, but customer support was able to fix it recently and now everything is fine. The only reason that this app doesnt get five stars is that I think $4 (at least thats what it cost when I paid for it) is a bit steep for a chess app. The main reason that I finally caved and bought it was that I couldnt stand the constant ads anymore. Zynga has done an excellent job and their customer support was extremely helpful. This is a great chess app.

Every time I make a move, an ad pops up. Is there a version I can pay for to stop getting ads?

The interface is very old looking compared to most iOS apps, but my main complaint is it will not shut up about linking to Facebook.

This game is dead, no updates at all. Your submit button is in a bad spot! Please add a feature to ask other player undo the last move!!! It would be nice to see W/L grouped by players, as I play 3 different people. Just shows overall win/loss.

My friends that play on another platform describes the latest version of CwF, and it sounds better than this version. Will iOS be updated soon too? Would love to see the rankings, opponent records, etc.

The "submit" and "share" buttons are entirely too close to each other. Far too often when I want to move, the app wants to share the screenshot. Other than that, I dig the app.

Zenga took a great app with lots of users, monetized it, and then never updated it in years.
